As of 2019, Clean Biologics has already acquired the company formerly know as « Be Vaccines » and since rebranded as « Naobios ». Based in Nantes, the firm runs viral vaccine and oncolytic virus manufacturing projects (up to clinical phase 3) with the help of a highly-trained team.
In 2021, Biodextris, a Canadian CDMO based in Laval (Montreal), joins Clean Biologics & complements the catalog of services provided by the group with its expertise in analytical and process development, and early-phase clinical manufacturing of protein-based vaccines using microbial and eukaryotic systems.
Clean Cells, Naobios and Biodextris offer high-quality services with 50+ years of cumulated experience and human-centered values. They both develop and manufacture cutting-edge products and have built an international reputation supported by connections to local, national and global institutions.
Our main ambition is to address human and animal health challenges and to ensure that we take part in the well-being of patients all around the world.
Everyday, we invest in our companies and strengthen our teams to achieve that goal.
Clean Biologics was created in 2018 to support the project built by Clean Cells’ founding members : Olivier BOISTEAU, Marc MEICHENIN and Frédéric HENRY. They soon joined Lyon-based investor firm Archimed which specializes in the Medtech/Biotech sector.
The alchemy was instantly felt between the two companies’ members which shared common values: a drive for innovation, human-centric policies and an ethical way of pursuing business strategies.
Together they plan on largely increasing the medium-sized company’s capacities by building new laboratories and by acquiring new firms to join the group.
